I been here for years. J-bird here. Well, maybe I was a little MIA during the month of April- but now I’m back on track!
Great news. This upcoming weekend is the Spring into Summer sale at Rust and Feathers!!! And it is also the annual Spring Market at the old Lucketts store! So many shopping opportunites I can hardly stand it! So, do your spring cleaning at home and make lots of room for the treasures you will find out in Lucketts this weekend!
Also, special shout out to my fellas for a great Mothers Day! They gave me a lovely necklace and pair of earrings and I bought myself some sheet metal and a random orbital sander! SHHHHHHHH! Don’t tell ’em! And my boys of course brought home lovely projects for me from school- and we had cupcakes from The Rising Flour which were AMAZING! (obvi). If you ever need cupcakes, The Rising Flour is the BEST!
Anyhow- all 4 of us have been busy bees (birds) and there will be lots of new stuff out in the store this weekend! I personally have been switching things up a bit and rather than focusing on my drawings, I have been fixing up some furniture! Who ever said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks, right?! I love experimenting and doing new things.
Today’s projects include distressing sheet metal that will ultimately be a cool magnet board and cleaning/restoring a 1930’s era waterfall style nightstand! We would love to hear about and see what you are working on so please leave us a comment!
